About the Role
You will lead commercial and strategic expansion across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and the broader GCC. You will build relationships with financial and government institutions, develop regional opportunities, engage regulators, execute go-to-market activities, represent the business publicly, and translate market insights into growth strategies.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or institutional sales
- Substantial experience in the Middle East
- Existing relationships with regional fintechs, exchanges, brokerages, banks, primes, or regulators
- Experience engaging regulators and government agencies
- Familiarity with DIFC, ADGM, VARA, CMA, or SCA frameworks
- Understanding of brokerage infrastructure, tokenization, blockchain settlement, and digital asset market structure
- Track record of developing strategic relationships into commercial opportunities
- Strong executive presence and communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, and executive leadership
- Strong organizational skills and bias toward action
- Fluency in English
- Arabic fluency is strongly preferred
- Willingness to travel regularly within the region
- Experience in Middle Eastern broker-dealer, exchange, market maker, prime broker, or crypto-native firms is preferred
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with fintechs, exchanges, brokerages, banks, primes, and ecosystem partners
- Serve as an executive interface for regional clients and prospects
- Engage regulators, government agencies, and public-sector institutions
- Nurture opportunities from initial scoping through partnership growth
- Identify commercial opportunities with Sales, Marketing, and Product
- Support account conversion through lead nurturing and referral follow-up
- Drive go-to-market execution across Middle Eastern geographies and verticals
- Execute regional expansion priorities and revenue targets
- Translate regional customer needs into strategic solutions
- Analyze CRM data and business metrics
- Represent the business at conferences, roundtables, and ecosystem events
- Serve as a public-facing spokesperson
- Host networking events and client briefings
- Deliver sales presentations and performance reports
