About the Role

Lead Adyen's UK Account Management organization, define its long-term growth strategy, develop and coach managers, sponsor major merchants, drive commercial performance, improve forecasting, influence global roadmaps, and represent the UK market across the organization.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in senior leadership roles within Account Management, Business Development, or a related commercial field
  • Experience building and scaling large teams within the UK market
  • Experience in enterprise payments or fintech strongly preferred
  • Ability to develop long-term partnership strategies
  • Track record of managing managers and scaling multi-level teams
  • Strong commercial judgment
  • Quantitative analysis skills and aptitude for the payments industry
  • Ability to communicate complex technical or financial concepts to executives

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a two- to three-year UK growth strategy
  • Hire, mentor, and coach Team Leads and Account Managers
  • Sponsor relationships with the largest UK merchants
  • Drive commercial goals while maintaining consultative service
  • Prioritize high-impact customer engagement
  • Streamline processes between Sales, Product, and Account Management
  • Influence cross-functional roadmaps to remove growth barriers
  • Represent UK successes across EMEA and beyond
