About the Role
You will lead new business development for innovative financial products from initial concept and feasibility validation through structuring securitization and commercialization. You will assess legal and compliance hurdles, coordinate internal and external stakeholders, and collaborate with business development partners. You will support executive decision-making by organizing issues, preparing materials, providing essential information, facilitating revenue-focused discussions, escalating cross-functional concerns, and setting priorities. You will also develop fundraising structures and negotiate with issuers, investors, financial institutions, and regulators.
Requirements
- Experience negotiating with executives and supporting important decision-making, including issue organization, material preparation, and facilitation.
- Experience conceiving and driving businesses in highly uncertain environments, including validating feasibility and turning concepts into execution.
- Experience in a financial institution is not required.
- Experience in entrepreneurship, new business development, or corporate planning is preferred.
- Experience with business planning, KPI design, and cross-functional project leadership is preferred.
- Interest in or intellectual curiosity about asset management, crypto assets, Web3, and alternative investments is preferred.
- Business-level English is preferred.
- Experience in corporate planning, trading companies, consulting firms, or financial institutions is preferred.
- A first-class securities sales representative qualification and internal control manager qualification are preferred; candidates without them must be able to obtain them within a specified period after joining.
Responsibilities
- Validate the feasibility of new project concepts, including legal and compliance hurdles.
- Drive negotiations and execution throughout the product structuring process from scheme design through securitization and commercialization.
- Collaborate continuously with the parent company’s business development team to share information and create group synergies.
- Organize issues and prepare materials for executive meetings and board meetings.
- Lead rapid decision-making processes and facilitate revenue-focused management discussions.
- Escalate cross-functional issues and concerns and set priorities.
- Develop fundraising structures and negotiate with issuers, investors, and financial institutions.
- Develop response policies for regulators and attend negotiations when necessary.
