About the Role
Lead the planning, delivery, and optimization of events and trade shows, including event showcases, logistics, inventory, staff training, presentations, workshops, contracts, and ROI tracking.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or related discipline
- 5+ years of related marketing experience, ideally in event marketing
- Proven experience in event and trade show planning, attendance, and reporting
- Experience partnering with enterprise or business development teams
- Strong organization skills with ability to manage resources, budgets, and onsite personnel
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proven presentation and public speaking ability
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Metric driven with ability to draw insights from complex marketing data
- Willingness to work long hours, stand for extended periods, and travel frequently
Responsibilities
- Spearhead event strategy, including identifying key events and defining objectives
- Design and oversee the build of a flexible Event Showcase
- Develop and manage the Event Management process and ensure its execution
- Coordinate with Marketing, Business Development, Tech teams, and partners to plan and staff events
- Negotiate and execute contracts for events
- Travel frequently to attend and manage events
- Analyze, track, and report on event ROI using CRM, email marketing, and project management systems
- Grow and manage a team of event marketing specialists
- Deliver presentations and run at-event workshops
- Organize on-brand side events and manage event inventory and swag
