About the Role
You will build and manage a pipeline of sports, media, and culture partnership opportunities. You will negotiate deal terms, develop commercial models and business cases, coordinate approvals with internal functions, and maintain clear deal documentation. You will also identify new partnership categories and present well-supported proposals.
Requirements
- 6 or more years of business development or partnerships experience, including deal closing in sports, media, or adjacent entertainment.
- Background in consulting, investment banking, or a similar field.
- Track record of closing agreements with leagues, teams, or media properties.
- Experience managing complex multi-track deal pipelines.
- Experience building commercial models and internal business cases.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Existing relationships with commercial teams at major sports leagues, teams, or media companies.
- Experience at a consumer technology company or marketplace.
- Familiarity with prediction markets, sports betting, or financial products and their regulatory context.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and build relationships with professional sports leagues, teams, and media properties.
- Negotiate term sheets and deal structures through signed agreements.
- Build commercial models and business cases for material deals.
- Own and maintain the sports and media business-development pipeline.
- Coordinate with marketing, product, legal, technology, and finance to secure approvals and execute deals.
- Create trackers, deal memos, and presentation materials.
- Identify new partnership categories and develop supporting proposals.
