About the Role
You will own defense accounts from prospecting and capture through contract close, deployment, and expansion. You will set deal structures, manage account strategy and forecasts, lead customer briefings, identify manufacturing needs, and translate field feedback into product priorities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of defense capture, business development, or commercial GTM experience
- Track record of closing multi-million-dollar deals
- Experience landing and expanding accounts within defense organizations and contractors
- Knowledge of defense program funding and contracting
- Experience selling physical hardware into industrial or defense environments
- Production experience in manufacturing, sustainment, depot operations, or weapon-system production
Responsibilities
- Own revenue, forecast accuracy, and pipeline hygiene for defense accounts
- Run the capture lifecycle from opportunity identification through close
- Set deal structures for pilots, deployments, and contract manufacturing relationships
- Build account plans for defense organizations and contractors
- Drive multi-stakeholder sales cycles to signed contracts
- Build executive customer relationships
- Lead demos and briefings
- Own commercial outcomes through deployment
- Identify manufacturing pain points and assembly bottlenecks
- Translate field feedback into product priorities
