About the Role
You will own commercial contracts from negotiation through execution, including customer, vendor, AI-provider, and partner agreements. You will advise on data, privacy, security, and AI terms; support cross-functional stakeholders; refine contract playbooks; and use automation with Legal Ops to streamline legal work.
Requirements
- Be a licensed attorney admitted in at least one US state.
- Have 7+ years of commercial contracting experience with deep B2B SaaS exposure.
- Have experience owning complex negotiations on both sides of the table.
- Understand data, privacy, security, and AI terms.
- Use AI in your work.
- Provide practical legal advice and exercise sound judgment.
- Build relationships across cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Own commercial contracts end to end for enterprise customers, vendors, AI providers, and partners.
- Manage everyday agreements, including NDAs, event agreements, sponsorships, and marketing partnerships.
- Explain data and AI practices clearly to customers.
- Negotiate agreements and identify positions where the business should hold firm.
- Improve contract playbooks to make future deals easier.
- Partner with Legal Ops to apply AI and automation to legal workflows.
- Serve as a trusted legal partner for cross-functional teams.
