About the Role
You will draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements for go-to-market and sales transactions in Brazil and other Latin American countries. You will advise cross-functional stakeholders on legal and regulatory issues, maintain localized contract materials, and help manage commercial risk across jurisdictions.
Requirements
- Law degree and qualification to practice law in Brazil
- Native-level Portuguese
- Fluent English
- Spanish is strongly preferred
- 7+ years of relevant post-qualification legal experience
- Proven experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial and technology agreements
- Knowledge of enterprise software licensing, SaaS, data protection, and intellectual property
- Experience advising on privacy, cybersecurity, and cross-border data transfer issues
- Communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements for go-to-market and sales transactions in Brazil and other Latin American countries
- Partner with sales, business development, and operations teams on go-to-market strategies
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments and apply them to contract drafting and risk assessment
- Develop, maintain, and localize contract templates, playbooks, and policies
- Provide pragmatic commercial legal advice to cross-functional teams
- Contribute to scaling the commercial legal function
