About the Role

You will build the Canadian channel partner motion from the ground up. You will identify and sign partners, create joint go-to-market plans, generate referrals, manage onboarding and activation, develop trusted relationships, support partner-referred opportunities, and turn early learnings into a repeatable operating playbook.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in partner sales, business development, channel partnerships, or a related role
  • Proven track record of sourcing and managing partnerships
  • Strong discovery and consultative-selling skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong operating discipline and ability to use data to improve performance
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong cross-functional judgment and experience working across functions
  • Familiarity with the Canadian business and technology ecosystem
  • Strong comfort using AI tools to execute quality work quickly
  • Experience building a new partner motion, market, or vertical is a plus
  • Professional proficiency or native-level fluency in French is a plus
  • Presence in Canadian accounting, advisory, private equity, venture capital, financial-services, or technology partner networks is a plus
  • Familiarity with finance and accounting workflows and solutions is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Build the Canadian channel strategy and operating rhythm from the ground up
  • Research, identify, source, qualify, and sign new Canadian partners
  • Create joint go-to-market and activation plans
  • Drive revenue through partner referrals
  • Develop trusted relationships with decision-makers and operators in partner organizations
  • Educate partners on Canadian capabilities, value propositions, and updates
  • Own partner onboarding, activation, pipeline generation, and regular business reviews
  • Work with the Canadian Sales team to advance partner-referred opportunities
  • Partner with Product to surface recurring partner needs and inform the Canadian roadmap
