About the Role

You will manage Rain's inbound pipeline by researching and qualifying incoming accounts, communicating product value to prospects, and driving opportunities from first touch to close. You will collaborate with internal teams to coordinate deal execution and handoffs, maintain accurate CRM records, analyze inbound trends, and contribute to process improvements. You will also represent the business at industry conferences to build relationships and expand the partner network.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in business development, sales, customer success, or a related customer-facing role
  • High degree of ownership, ambition, and bias toward action
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to structure, negotiate, and close deals
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and consistent follow-through
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth, and high-uncertainty environment
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess lead quality and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Interest in owning deals end-to-end and developing closing skills over time
  • Team-oriented and excited to support broader pipeline and revenue goals

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on inbound accounts to assess fit, urgency, and potential value
  • Qualify inbound leads to identify high-priority opportunities
  • Communicate product value proposition to prospects and adapt messaging to audiences
  • Engage internal teams to deepen collaboration with potential partners
  • Own deal follow-up and advance opportunities through the funnel from discovery to close
  • Support deal execution and coordinate handoff to the platform team for implementation
  • Track activity and maintain accurate documentation in CRM tools
  • Identify trends in inbound demand and share insights with the GTM team
  • Contribute to process improvements to scale inbound motion and improve conversion efficiency
  • Attend industry conferences to expand network and build ecosystem connections
