About the Role
You will develop and manage midcap corporate banking portfolios in the building, construction, and real estate sectors. You will create account strategies, pursue business opportunities, cross-sell banking products, prepare financial analyses and models, monitor credit performance, manage documentation, and support industry research.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 6-8 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in corporate lending and relationship management for midcap corporate clients.
- Strong credit and financial analysis skills.
- Ability to independently prepare financial models, cash flow analyses, and debt capacity analyses.
- Knowledge of corporate banking products.
- Ability to conduct industry research and produce written and presentation materials.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Business development experience and strong business connections are advantageous.
- Knowledge of real estate, accounting, finance, financial modelling, and business presentation is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Develop account strategies and expand existing and new portfolios.
- Execute account plans across target markets and geographies.
- Increase product penetration and cross-sell capital markets, transaction banking, and treasury services.
- Submit RFPs, pitches, credit memos, and supervision reports on time.
- Prepare financial models with profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow projections.
- Monitor accounts for credit deterioration or improvement and take timely action.
- Conduct corporate finance, capital structure, valuation, and comparable-company analyses.
- Handle loan and security documentation and negotiations.
- Support industry research, growth-area development, country strategies, and benchmarking.
