About the Role

Expand Derive XYZ’s presence across APAC by identifying and onboarding institutional, proprietary, and high-volume traders. Build relationships with market makers, OTC desks, family offices, whales, miners, funds, and strategic partners; bring trading flow to the exchange; collaborate on regional programs; represent Derive at industry events; monitor market and regulatory developments; and support community growth in Mandarin and Korean.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in crypto trading, derivatives, or institutional business development
• Strong network within APAC trading communities across CeFi or DeFi
• Understanding of options, perps, or structured products, or willingness to learn quickly
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Fluent in Mandarin and proficient in English
• Self-driven and resourceful, with comfort working in a fast-moving global team
• Experience with crypto trading and derivatives
• Strong local presence or network in Singapore, Hong Kong, or Taiwan

Responsibilities

• Identify and onboard institutional, proprietary, and high-volume traders to the onchain options platform
• Build relationships with market makers, OTC desks, and family offices across Asia
• Bring taker flow to the exchange by building relationships with whales, miners, and funds
• Collaborate with growth, liquidity, and product teams to shape region-specific programs
• Represent Derive at industry events, panels, and meetups in Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea, and beyond
• Monitor and report regional trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments
• Contribute to local community growth in Mandarin and Korean
