About the Role
You will join a growing US team focused on selling to new logos across the Financial Services market. You'll take ownership of the full sales cycle in your territory, targeting hedge funds, asset managers, investment bankers, and sell-side research departments. You'll research opportunities, initiate discussions, build prospect relationships, conduct product demos, manage trials, and close sales. You'll forecast accurately, build the pipeline needed to hit your goals, and partner closely with marketing and the Product Specialist team to drive user adoption during trials. You'll also share market and client feedback with sales, product, and marketing teams to help continually improve the product.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant sales experience with a B2B SaaS solution and a customer network in the Financial Services market (buy side and sell side)
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
- Able to cold call and prospect across a set territory and build a pipeline
- Able to conduct product demonstrations in a value-based sales environment
- Natural curiosity with the ability to learn quickly
- Strong ability to develop rapport with new people and maintain relationships
- Outstanding oral, written, and presentation skills
- Able to distill and explain complex issues in simple terms
- Expert communication across all levels of an organization
- Experience hitting six-figure or seven-figure revenue targets on an annual basis
- Able to travel for prospect meetings, based on business needs
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the end-to-end sales process in your territory
- Target hedge funds, asset managers, investment bankers, and sell-side research departments
- Research opportunities and initiate discussions with prospects
- Build prospect relationships and conduct product demos
- Manage product trials
- Close sales
- Forecast accurately and develop pipeline to meet and exceed goals
- Partner closely with the marketing team to expand brand awareness
- Work closely with the Product Specialist team during trials to ensure user adoption and engagement
- Gather and pass on market and client product needs to sales, product management, content, and product marketing teams
