Account Director - Public Sector (Middle East)

About the Role

You will own the full sales lifecycle for public sector customers in the Middle East, from prospecting to closing and long-term renewals. You will build and nurture trusted relationships with ministries, central banks, regulators, and law enforcement, and integrate blockchain intelligence into customer workflows. You will create and execute a strategic territory plan, run demos and advisory sessions, produce Arabic and English customer materials, run innovation workshops, and act as the customer's advocate internally to influence product priorities.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of SaaS or technology sales experience
  • Experience selling into public sector government or regulatory environments in the Middle East
  • Strong understanding of government workflows and public procurement processes
  • Proven consultative selling skills with senior government and policy stakeholders
  • Familiarity with Anti-Money Laundering AML Counter-Terrorist Financing CTF and sanctions frameworks preferred
  • Ability to articulate complex value propositions clearly and persuasively
  • Proven relationship building and account management (farmer mindset)
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and evolving policy and technology landscapes
  • Self-directed accountable and able to work cross-functionally
  • Technical aptitude; experience with blockchain virtual currencies or financial intelligence tools is a plus

  • Manage feedback loops renewals expansions upsells and cross-functional initiatives
  • Deliver discovery demos advisory sessions and innovation workshops
  • Produce Arabic and English customer-facing one-pagers and workshop briefs
  • Act as the customer's advocate to gather and prioritize product feedback
