About the Role
You will own public-sector accounts, develop account and capture strategies, and lead opportunities through discovery, procurement, deployment, adoption, and expansion. You will manage customer outcomes, forecasts, executive reporting, partners, compliance requirements, and stakeholder relationships across ANZ and selected APAC markets.
Requirements
- 10+ years in government, public-sector technology sales, business development, consulting, transformation, systems integration, or a related field
- Direct government experience or significant experience working with government customers
- Current Australian Government security clearance and ability to maintain required clearance
- Experience designing and executing complex deal strategies
- Experience working with senior public-sector executives and decision-makers
- Knowledge of Australian public-sector procurement, contracting, security, privacy, data-residency, and compliance requirements
- Experience selling or delivering complex technology solutions in regulated environments
- Ability to communicate technical, commercial, and strategic concepts
- Ability to collaborate across cross-functional business and technical functions
- Ability to travel regularly within ANZ and periodically across APAC
Responsibilities
- Own ANZ public-sector accounts and selected APAC opportunities
- Build and execute account plans
- Drive opportunities through the full sales cycle
- Lead customers through responsible AI adoption
- Translate requirements, progress, risks, and dependencies across stakeholders
- Coordinate customer outcomes, milestones, adoption, and commercial commitments
- Develop joint pursuits and deployment models with partners
- Develop capture strategies, competitive positioning, and proposal narratives
- Navigate procurement, security, data-residency, compliance, and sovereignty requirements
- Maintain pipeline, forecasts, account records, and executive reporting
- Monitor government and competitive market developments
- Represent the organization at government and industry forums
