About the Role

You will lead water and wastewater infrastructure strategy across data center sites, from early site assessment and water-rights diligence through supply agreements, permitting, and construction. You will assess supply risks, negotiate with authorities and utilities, maintain regulatory compliance, and coordinate water timelines across project functions.

Requirements

• Experience owning water and wastewater infrastructure for industrial or data center projects from site selection through construction
• Experience negotiating water supply and wastewater agreements with utilities and authorities
• Knowledge of water policy, legal rights, and regulatory changes across US markets
• Experience with NPDES permits, industrial pre-treatment permits, or decentralized wastewater systems
• Ability to coordinate water issues across development, engineering, design, construction, and operations
• Clear external writing and commercial negotiation skills

Responsibilities

• Own water and wastewater infrastructure strategy from site assessment through construction
• Assess water-supply risk and delivery feasibility before lease commitments
• Negotiate water supply and wastewater agreements with authorities, utilities, and providers
• Maintain compliance with withdrawal limits, NPDES, pre-treatment, and end-user flow agreements
• Coordinate water workstreams across development, engineering, design, construction, and operations
