About the Role
You will run recurring finance, payroll, onboarding, vendor, compliance, workplace, process, and reporting operations. You will maintain reliable cash, budget, and runway information; coordinate external providers; manage office operations; document manual workflows; and prepare inputs for board and investor reporting.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in operations, business operations, finance operations, or a similar role
- Experience in a startup or fast-moving technology company
- Experience maintaining and improving systems over time
- Spreadsheet proficiency and numeracy
- Daily use of AI tools
Responsibilities
- Run the finance cycle, including reconciliations, management accounts, expenses, and invoicing
- Maintain cash, burn, runway, and budget information
- Own payroll, onboarding, contracts, benefits, and employee documentation
- Coordinate payroll providers, pension, healthcare, banks, insurers, and legal counsel
- Maintain compliance with filings, VAT, statutory obligations, and insurance
- Own vendor relationships, contracts, renewals, and significant compute and infrastructure commitments
- Manage the London office, equipment, suppliers, and team events
- Document and operationalize manual workflows
- Prepare inputs for board materials, investor updates, and reporting packs
- Coordinate with German colleagues and suppliers
