About the Role
You will build and operate business systems for finance, internal tools, security, and office infrastructure. You will oversee accountants and vendors, manage financial controls and accounts payable and receivable, maintain compliance, administer workplace tools, and improve the physical office environment.
Requirements
- Finance and accounting knowledge or ability to learn quickly
- Vendor management experience
- Technical fluency with security and IT vendors
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, accounting software, and financial management tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and prioritize effectively
Responsibilities
- Build and run business operations infrastructure
- Direct external accountants and review their work
- Run financial controls and spending approvals
- Own accounts payable, accounts receivable, and donation processing
- Prepare clean books and audit evidence
- Administer internal tools including Google Workspace and Slack
- Develop cybersecurity and privacy policies
- Maintain SOC 2 compliance and coordinate auditors
- Improve office infrastructure and IT
- Manage relationships with building management
