VP of Enterprise Sales Payments

About the Role
You will lead enterprise payments sales by developing and executing sales strategy, driving pipeline, and closing large complex deals. You will manage and mentor sales personnel, cultivate and retain enterprise clients, lead negotiations for enterprise contracts, partner with product and marketing, and use data and KPIs to optimize performance.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10+ years in enterprise sales with at least 5 years in payments or fintech
- Proven track record of closing large deals and leading high-performing sales teams
- Demonstrated success in leading, coaching, and mentoring sales teams
- In-depth knowledge of the payments ecosystem including payment processing, merchant services, and card networks
- Knowledge of crypto and emerging fintech trends
- Strong negotiation and closing skills for complex multi-stakeholder deals
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Data-driven approach to sales management and use of analytics
- Bachelor's degree in Business Finance or a related field
Responsibilities
- Lead a high-performing enterprise sales team
- Develop and execute sales strategy for acquiring and retaining large enterprise clients in payments
- Drive the sales pipeline from lead generation to closing
- Identify and manage new business opportunities
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key enterprise clients
- Provide insights on industry trends and competitive positioning
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and operations to meet client needs
- Lead negotiations for enterprise-level contracts and close complex deals
- Develop and manage KPIs and provide regular reporting to senior leadership
- Mentor and develop sales team through training and support
