About the Role

You will own direct government relationships and initiatives, working across Congress, the Department of Defense, program offices, and prime contractors. You will secure non-dilutive funding, advance legislative and appropriations efforts, establish contract vehicles, oversee advisors, and build a scalable capture, proposal, compliance, and pricing function.

Requirements

• 6+ years in OSD or service acquisition, on Capitol Hill, or leading government functions for a defense technology company
• Experience securing non-dilutive funding or starting a government program
• Knowledge of industrial base policy, OSC, DPA Title III, IBAS, ManTech, and defense appropriations subcommittees
• Experience advancing legislation from draft through markup and conference
• Experience winning or administering OTA, IDIQ, or consortium contract vehicles
• Strong writing skills for proposals, white papers, one-pagers, and bill text
• Experience managing consultants

Responsibilities

• Secure non-dilutive government funding through programs including OSC, SBIR, DPA Title III, IBAS, ManTech, and appropriations
• Advance NDAA language through OSD and military services
• Lead NDAA and appropriations cycles with DC teams
• Establish contract vehicles, including FFP, IDIQ, and OTA arrangements
• Lead and manage advisors
• Build a government-contracting function for capture, proposals, compliance, and pricing
