About the Role
Own engineering end-to-end at Finary, including people, architecture, hiring, delivery, and quality. Lead the transition to an AI-native organization, build AI-powered personal finance products, set the 10-year technical vision, and partner with Product, Data, Ops, and the CEO on company strategy.
Requirements
- Personally led an AI-native transformation at an organization of 20 or more engineers with before-and-after metrics
- Scaled an engineering team to 30 or more in a high-growth startup
- Backend-strong and still hands-on, including readiness to code the first AI agent
- Rebuilt personal workflows around AI and shipped AI products for others
- Build A-player teams that follow across companies
- Actively manage personal finances and have a point of view on investing
- Fintech or trust-heavy product experience is a bonus
- Founder, co-founder, or first technical hire experience at a scaled startup is a bonus
- Based in or ready to relocate to France
Responsibilities
- Own engineering end-to-end across people, architecture, hiring, delivery, and quality across all squads
- Build an AI-native organization where AI is the default for code, tests, reviews, and deploys
- Target a measured 3 to 5x output increase per engineer
- Ship autonomous agents and personalized financial guidance using proprietary data
- Set the 10-year technical vision
- Grow Finary's engineering brand and attract top talent
- Lead 30 engineers across web, mobile, and backend
- Partner with Product, Data, and Ops
- Help shape overall company strategy
