About Spiko
Spiko is a Paris-based fintech licensed by the French ACPR as a MiFID investment firm, offering regulated tokenized money market funds to businesses and individuals. Its products invest in treasury bills from core Eurozone countries or use collateralized total return swaps with Tier 1 banks to deliver daily interest. Fund shares are issued as ERC-20 tokens on public blockchains including Ethereum, Stellar, Arbitrum, and Polygon, enabling 24/7 transfers and API access. About the Role
You will lead engineering delivery across architecture, quality, velocity, and reliability while scaling the team from 8 to approximately 30 engineers. You will hire and onboard engineers, design the organization and processes, establish AI-enabled workflows, remain hands-on with code and architecture, and work with the founders on technical, infrastructure, product, and regulatory decisions.
Requirements
- Track record leading a team of 20 or more top-tier engineers
- Experience at an A+ startup or scale-up during rapid growth
- Practical AI-first approach to engineering processes, delivery, and organizational vision
- Hands-on coding, pull request review, and architecture experience
- Product-oriented mindset
- Exceptional hiring ability
- Fintech or regulated-domain experience is desirable
- Experience with financial infrastructure at scale is desirable
- Familiarity with Paris or London engineering talent markets is desirable
Responsibilities
- Own engineering delivery across architecture, quality, velocity, and reliability
- Triple the engineering team within a year
- Source, close, and onboard top-tier engineers
- Design team structure, ownership models, incident management, and security and compliance processes
- Set AI tooling, workflows, and engineering standards
- Write code, review pull requests, make architecture decisions, and unblock the team
- Work with founders on technical strategy, build-versus-buy decisions, and infrastructure and regulatory choices
