About the Role
You will lead the execution of Ripple's global corporate development mandate, deploying capital to accelerate growth through partnerships, investments, and acquisitions. You'll develop strategic market intelligence on the crypto ecosystem, curating research to identify critical shifts and communicating their implications to leadership. You'll work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Go-to-Market teams to qualify opportunities, and analyze competitors to inform business strategy. You'll lead the end-to-end execution of acquisitions and investments, from defining business needs to mapping markets, engaging prospects, and building business cases. You'll partner with Finance, Legal, Tax, and People teams to drive due diligence and integration. You'll build and maintain relationships with blockchain entrepreneurs and investors to source opportunities and manage a high-velocity deal pipeline, and collaborate with Business Development on strategic alliances. You'll also develop internal processes for the corporate development function and conduct ad-hoc qualitative and quantitative analyses to support strategy and investment decisions.
Requirements
- 10+ years in Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Venture Capital, or Corporate Finance
- Proven track record of proactive relationship building and driving proprietary deal flow
- Experience managing multiple complex deals simultaneously through all phases
- Background in building, mentoring, and leading high-performing teams
- Mastery of financial modeling including three-statement analysis, valuation, and market data models
- Ability to operate without an established playbook and architect creative deal structures
- Sophisticated understanding of blockchain technology and traditional financial services
- Exceptional intellectual rigor and attention to detail

- Conduct data-driven backtesting of acquisition performance against investment thesis
- Perform ad-hoc qualitative and quantitative analyses for planning and strategy
