About the Role
You will provide executive leadership for bulk-power marketing strategies, programs, systems, and processes. You will lead market trades, transmission scheduling, acquisition and origination, market analysis, strategic planning, and resource allocation. You will supervise senior managers and staff while maintaining relationships with industry, utilities, governments, tribes, and federal agencies.
Requirements
- Be a U.S. Citizen or National.
- Demonstrate experience managing power purchases and sales in the Western Interconnection, a bilateral power market, or an organized market.
- Demonstrate experience in energy-sector origination or acquisition.
- Demonstrate the Executive Core Qualifications.
- Submit a resume of no more than two pages.
- Be able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.
- File a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report OGE-278 within 30 days of appointment and annually.
- Be subject to a one-year SES probationary period unless already completed.

- Lead bulk-power marketing strategies, programs, systems, and processes.
- Manage market trades, transmission scheduling, acquisition, origination, and market analysis.
- Maintain collaborative relationships with industry, utilities, governments, tribes, and federal agencies.
- Formulate policy and make strategic planning and business decisions.
- Allocate staff and funds to support business objectives and marketing strategies.
- Exercise managerial authority over senior managers, specialists, analysts, and administrative staff.
