About the Role
You will lead and execute the strategic plan for frontier technologies across defense, reindustrialization, and health. You will build senior relationships with policymakers, investors, founders, and industry leaders; secure grants and strategic partnerships; recruit startups and mentors; influence policy; oversee programming and events; and create a high-performing culture.
Requirements
- Executive-level leadership experience as an MD, ED, or VP
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multi-million-dollar budgets
- Fundraising and relationship-building experience, including closing seven-figure commitments
- Ability to navigate stakeholder environments across the Pentagon, Capitol Hill, and Silicon Valley
- Ability to use AI tools and organized systems to create scalable processes
- Storytelling and stakeholder-influence skills
- Availability to work evening events and weekends when needed
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the strategic plan for frontier technologies
- Build executive-level partnerships across the Pentagon, Capitol Hill, and Silicon Valley
- Lead revenue strategy and secure annual funding through grants and strategic partnerships
- Recruit startups, investors, and mentors into the community
- Engage policymakers to advocate for tech-friendly legislation
- Oversee signature events and Meeting Ground initiatives
- Build a high-performance culture and serve as the face of the organization
