About the Role

Own full-cycle technical recruiting at Gauntlet, partnering with hiring managers, using crypto-native sourcing signals, maintaining structured hiring systems, and improving evaluation and recruiting processes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of technical recruiting experience, ideally in crypto, protocol development, or deep-tech environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to hire senior engineers, quantitative researchers, or other specialized candidates.
  • Understanding of core crypto concepts, especially DeFi.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to articulate technical products and value propositions.
  • Ability to operate autonomously, prioritize effectively, and build stakeholder relationships.
  • Established presence or network in crypto communities such as Twitter, GitHub, research DAOs, and Discord engineering groups.
  • Experience hiring in high-growth or remote-first environments.
  • Understanding of TradFi and web2 hiring needs relevant to web3.
  • Global talent acquisition experience across engineering and research domains.

Responsibilities

  • Own sourcing, outreach, screening, interviewing, and closing for technical roles.
  • Build and maintain diverse, high-quality talent pipelines across multiple functions.
  • Drive an exceptional candidate experience from first contact through offer acceptance.
  • Leverage on-chain reputation tools, GitHub activity, DAO contributions, crypto communities, open-source communities, hackathons, and crypto-specific hiring channels.
  • Partner with engineering leadership and hiring managers to understand hiring needs.
  • Advise hiring teams on interviewing and data-driven candidate decisions.
  • Maintain structured hiring pipelines, interview scorecards, and ATS hygiene.
  • Implement structured evaluation frameworks aligned with Gauntlet’s standards.
  • Improve hiring processes, outreach copy, interview structure, and employer branding.
