About the Role
You will own full-cycle technical recruiting: source, engage, screen, interview, and close engineering and research candidates. You will leverage on-chain reputation signals and developer communities, work directly with hiring managers to define hiring needs, maintain ATS hygiene and structured evaluation frameworks, and improve hiring processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience recruiting for technical roles ideally in crypto protocol development or deep-tech environments
- Demonstrated ability to hire senior engineers and quantitative researchers
- Understanding of core crypto concepts especially DeFi
- Strong communication skills to articulate technical products and value propositions
- Ability to operate autonomously prioritize effectively and build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
- Established presence or network within crypto communities such as Twitter GitHub research DAOs and Discord engineering groups
- Experience hiring in high-growth or remote-first environments
- Understanding of TradFi and web2 hiring needs that translate to web3 hiring
- Global talent acquisition experience across engineering and research domains
Responsibilities
- Own sourcing outreach screening interviewing and closing for technical roles
- Build and maintain diverse high-quality pipelines across multiple functions
- Drive an exceptional candidate experience from first touch to offer acceptance
- Leverage on-chain reputation tools GitHub activity DAO contributions Crypto Twitter Farcaster Discord communities open source communities hackathons Layer 2 ecosystems and crypto-specific hiring channels
- Work directly with engineering leadership and hiring managers to gain a deep understanding of hiring needs
- Advise hiring teams on best practices for conducting interviews and making data-driven decisions
- Maintain structured hiring pipelines interview scorecards and ATS hygiene
- Implement structured evaluation frameworks that align with Gauntlet’s standards
- Proactively suggest improvements to hiring processes outreach copy interview structure and branding across technical roles
