About the Role
You will manage end-to-end procurement, source and negotiate with suppliers, issue purchase orders, and ensure timely fulfillment. You will build procurement systems, manage supplier performance and contracts, analyze demand, partner with engineering and quality, automate reporting, and report procurement performance and savings.
Requirements
- 8 or more years of purchasing or procurement management experience in hardware or electronics
- Experience building procurement systems and processes
- Experience sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier contracts
- Budgeting, cost optimization, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency with procurement and vendor-management systems
- United States work authorization
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement operations
- Source, negotiate with, and manage suppliers
- Issue purchase orders and confirm on-time fulfillment
- Build procurement systems and tools
- Negotiate supplier contracts and resolve delivery defaults
- Evaluate, select, and onboard suppliers
- Translate engineering and product requirements into sourcing plans
- Analyze demand forecasts and procurement needs
- Coordinate vendors and quality to reduce rework and turnaround time
- Automate procurement reporting and sourcing research with AI tools
- Report procurement metrics, cost savings, and sourcing effectiveness
