About the Role

You will manage procurement across product lines and suppliers. You will issue and manage purchase orders, source and onboard suppliers, resolve delivery and shortage issues, negotiate costs, track BOM costs, support new-product sourcing, and maintain clear-to-build readiness for prototype and production builds.

Requirements

• 3+ years of global procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience in hardware or manufacturing
• Technical knowledge of mechatronic commodities
• Product development lifecycle and change-control knowledge
• ERP experience for purchase order and inventory management
• PLM system experience
• Excel
• Supplier negotiation
• Demand planning exposure is a plus

Responsibilities

• Issue and manage purchase orders for direct-spend categories
• Maintain supplier and contract manufacturer relationships
• Resolve shortages, delivery issues, invoice discrepancies, and supplier non-conformances
• Vet and onboard suppliers and alternate sources
• Maintain pricing, lead times, and supplier terms
• Execute RFQs, spot buys, and cost-reduction initiatives
• Track BOM costs
• Source parts for new products
• Own clear-to-build material readiness
• Track critical-path components and mitigate material risk
