About the Role

You will lead strategic sourcing for compute hardware, networking, cooling, and data center services. You will negotiate supplier agreements, manage purchase orders, track savings, develop procurement processes, and support infrastructure buildouts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred
• 5–8 years of procurement experience, including at least 2 years managing direct-spend categories in a technology or infrastructure environment
• Demonstrated success negotiating and managing multi-million-dollar vendor contracts
• Proficiency with procurement systems such as Coupa or SAP Ariba and ERP platforms
• Stakeholder management and cross-functional influence skills
• Proficiency in data analysis and spend analytics tools
• Experience sourcing GPU or AI accelerator hardware, servers, or data center infrastructure preferred
• Experience at a cloud hyperscaler, data center operator, or AI infrastructure company preferred
• Familiarity with NVIDIA, AMD, or custom ASIC hardware procurement preferred
• CPSM, CPP, or CSCP certification preferred
• Experience building procurement functions from early stage through scale preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing for compute hardware, networking, cooling, and data center services
• Negotiate and execute vendor agreements, MSAs, SOWs, and hardware purchase contracts
• Build and manage a portfolio of preferred suppliers
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Engineering on contract requirements
• Drive cost-reduction initiatives and track procurement savings
• Own the purchase-order lifecycle from requisition through payment
• Develop procurement policies, playbooks, and standard operating procedures
• Manage and mentor Procurement Analysts
• Monitor semiconductor supply chains, hardware pricing, and logistics trends
• Partner on infrastructure buildout procurement requirements and vendor selection
