About the Role
You will lead sourcing strategy and partner relationships for finished data-center systems. You will run RFQ and RFP events, negotiate build agreements and pricing, manage capacity and ramp commitments, support product introductions, coordinate cross-functional planning, and develop supply-continuity and cost-resilience plans.
Requirements
- 8+ years of strategic sourcing, procurement, ODM/OEM management, or supply-chain experience
- Experience sourcing system- or rack-level finished goods
- Experience negotiating build and supply agreements with ODMs, OEMs, or contract manufacturers
- Knowledge of BOM cost roll-up, should-cost analysis, conversion and integration cost, NRE, tooling, and landed cost
- Experience with platform partner selection, NPI, qualification, and mass-production ramp
- Knowledge of hardware manufacturing, integration, system testing, rack build, and logistics
- Experience leading commercial negotiations and delivering cost, capacity, and supply outcomes
- Analytical, financial, and business acumen
- Experience in constrained, long-lead-time supply environments
Responsibilities
- Own and execute ODM and OEM sourcing strategy for finished-goods systems
- Assess partner capability, capacity, technology readiness, quality, financial health, and manufacturing footprint
- Develop multi-partner and dual-sourcing strategies
- Lead commercial negotiations for manufacturing, build, supply, pricing, capacity, and support agreements
- Run RFQ and RFP events from requirements through award
- Manage strategic ODM and OEM relationships, business reviews, scorecards, and escalations
- Support new platform introductions from EVT through mass production
- Align manufacturing capacity and lead times with deployment demand
- Develop supply continuity plans and mitigate cost, capacity, lead-time, trade, quality, and partner risks
