About the Role
You will establish and scale company-wide procurement processes, policies, approval workflows, and operating models. You will build purchasing workflows and spend reporting, manage vendor onboarding and risk assessments, lead sourcing and RFPs, negotiate contracts, and establish procurement controls that support audit readiness and compliance.
Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive procurement experience
- Experience building or maturing procurement functions at a high-growth technology company
- Experience designing procurement processes, policies, and systems
- Experience running RFPs and vendor selection processes
- Experience with strategic sourcing and vendor contract negotiation
- Experience partnering on vendor risk assessments
- Cross-functional partnership skills
- Based in San Francisco or New York with ability to work in person 3+ days per week
Responsibilities
- Design and implement company-wide procurement processes and approval workflows
- Establish procurement policies and controls
- Define procurement's operating model and roadmap
- Build requisition, approval, and purchase-order workflows
- Build spend reporting by category, vendor, and department
- Own vendor onboarding, due diligence, and risk assessment
- Lead strategic sourcing, RFPs, and contract negotiations
- Build a vendor management framework
- Partner with Legal, Security, Compliance, IT, and business owners
- Establish controls for audit readiness, SOX compliance, security, and data privacy
