About the Role
You will support procurement, planning, inventory, supplier management, logistics, and data analysis. You will help manage purchase orders, track orders and deliveries, monitor material availability, maintain ERP/MRP data, conduct inventory analysis, track supplier performance, support sourcing and production planning, and present project findings.
Requirements
- Current pursuit of a bachelor's degree in a related field
- Interest in supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, or operations
- Data analysis skills
- Microsoft Excel proficiency
Responsibilities
- Support procurement, planning, inventory, and supplier management activities
- Assist with purchase orders, supplier follow-up, order tracking, and delivery status
- Communicate with suppliers on lead times, schedules, and purchasing needs
- Monitor material availability and identify shortages or risks
- Maintain supplier, purchasing, inventory, and material data in ERP/MRP systems
- Support inventory analysis, cycle counts, and accuracy initiatives
- Analyze supply chain data and maintain reports, trackers, dashboards, and supplier metrics
- Support sourcing, production planning, and material readiness
- Support new product introduction and supply chain readiness
- Participate in continuous improvement projects
- Present project results and recommendations
