About the Role

You will develop sourcing plans for new product initiatives and guide procurement execution through product development. You will manage cost, schedule, supplier, and material risks; align teams on sourcing strategy; report program status; and support transitions into sourcing operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
• 7 years of procurement, sourcing, or program/project management experience
• Experience supporting new product development with engineering and program-management teams
• Knowledge of sourcing strategy, category management, and purchase-order execution
• Ability to manage concurrent programs and changing priorities
• Communication and relationship-management skills
• ERP or MRP experience, preferably SAP
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop sourcing plans for NPI, retrofit, and cross-functional initiatives
• Guide project teams on sourcing strategy during development
• Represent procurement in engineering and program-management activities
• Manage and escalate financial, execution, material, and supply risks
• Direct purchase-order execution to align with sourcing strategy
• Align program requirements with category strategies, supplier capacity, and pricing agreements
• Drive use of approved and qualified suppliers
• Incorporate aftersales and lifecycle costs into sourcing decisions
• Provide supplier quotes and should-cost data for cost models
• Facilitate communication among engineering, program management, buyers, and suppliers
• Report procurement risk, schedule, and cost metrics
• Support program transitions to sourcing operations
