About the Role
You will own long-lead equipment strategy from project scoping through delivery, installation, and commissioning. You will forecast demand, manage suppliers and contracts, coordinate logistics, mitigate supply risks, improve planning systems and processes, and lead cross-functional equipment reviews.
Requirements
- Experience in supply chain, procurement, or operations with long-lead materials or capital equipment
- Experience managing complex multi-stakeholder projects
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and advanced planning tools
- Negotiation, contract-management, and supplier-relationship skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities
- Develop and own long-lead equipment, sourcing, and inventory strategies
- Translate project timelines and specifications into demand plans and procurement milestones
- Create forecasts and perform scenario and sensitivity analyses
- Align spend forecasts and cash-flow impacts with Finance
- Identify, qualify, and manage strategic suppliers
- Lead sourcing events, contract negotiations, and framework agreements
- Manage purchase orders, logistics, delivery, exceptions, and changes
- Identify supply, schedule, quality, and capacity risks and maintain a risk register
- Define processes, tools, and KPIs for long-lead equipment management
- Improve ERP/MRP, procurement, tracking workflows, BOM structures, and planning parameters
- Lead cross-functional reviews and mentor junior supply-chain and procurement staff
