About the Role

You will manage the sourcing lifecycle for electronics, semiconductor components, and mechanical assemblies supporting new product introduction. You will identify and vet suppliers, develop should-cost models, monitor material availability, place and track purchase requisitions and purchase orders, follow up on deliveries, and report procurement and inventory metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Sourcing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of procurement, supply chain, or supplier management experience
• Experience in an R&D environment is preferred
• Proficiency with ERP or procurement systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft or Google Suite tools
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Relevant experience in consumer electronics, semiconductors, or automotive autonomous-driving systems is preferred
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Identify and vet suppliers with Engineering
• Develop should-cost models and negotiate total cost of ownership
• Monitor R&D material inventory availability
• Place and track purchase requisitions and purchase orders
• Follow up with suppliers on open and overdue orders
• Maintain material fulfilment metrics and delivery timelines
• Analyze procurement and inventory metrics
• Prepare daily procurement reports
