About the Role
You will execute procure-to-pay activities and tactical sourcing support for direct materials. You will research markets, support RFx processes and negotiations, process purchase orders, maintain SAP data, assess supplier risks, and improve cost, lead time, and supply continuity.
Requirements
- 5+ years of direct procurement experience
- Experience in a scaling direct procurement function
- Degree in Business, Law, Engineering, or a related field
- CIPS MCIPS Level 5 or equivalent
- Understanding of contract law, commercial terms, and negotiation frameworks
- Knowledge of export controls, including EAR

Responsibilities
- Conduct market research on pricing, supply risks, and cost-saving opportunities
- Support RFx processes, negotiations, and contract execution
- Drive cost, lead-time, and efficiency improvements
- Capture business requirements and create commercial packages
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and terms and conditions
- Validate pricing through price analysis and cost breakdowns
- Process requisitions and purchase orders
- Maintain purchase order and supplier data in SAP
- Resolve supplier performance issues and discrepancies
- Conduct supplier risk assessments and implement corrective actions
- Improve procurement processes, documentation, and tools
- Run SAP MRP and ensure timely availability of direct goods and services
- Apply supplier relationship management techniques
- Support production, engineering, quality, and planning requirements
- Support regional Procurement Managers
- Support commodity teams in sourcing activities
