About the Role

As a Strategic Account Executive on the Enterprise team, you will champion Sardine's value proposition to Fortune 1000 companies, large financial institutions, and emerging Fintechs, Neo-banks and Digital Asset Exchanges. You will build relationships with executives across Business, Technology, Risk, and Compliance, run deep discovery sessions to understand client challenges and priorities, and establish yourself as a trusted voice in Digital Transformation, Digital Identity, Compliance, and Fraud. You'll manage the full sales cycle end to end, working closely with the Growth team, BDRs, and Solutions Engineering to qualify opportunities, tailor presentations and demos, lead negotiations, and close deals. You'll also share market feedback from prospects and clients across the organization.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of B2B SaaS sales experience
  • 3+ years of proven success selling to fintechs and neobanks, with fraud and compliance expertise strongly preferred
  • An extensive network of industry executives and leaders
  • Demonstrated consultative sales experience and impactful discovery sessions
  • Ability to translate risk, compliance, technical, and customer experience challenges into business value
  • Exceptional research, planning, and detail-oriented skills
  • Strong networking capabilities
  • Proficiency in managing complex, multi-threaded sales cycles
  • Excellent communication, public speaking, and writing skills
  • Proven experience structuring complex deals with strong financial acumen
  • Willingness to travel across North America and globally as needed
  • Proven ability to work effectively across a highly matrixed, global organization

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate relationships with executives in Business, Technology, Risk, and Compliance
  • Conduct in-depth discovery sessions to understand client challenges, initiatives, and tech stacks
  • Establish credibility and thought leadership in Digital Transformation, Digital Identity, Compliance, and Fraud domains
  • Become an authority on Sardine's product offering and tailor solutions to client challenges
  • Manage end-to-end sales processes including outbound strategies, qualifying opportunities, presentations, demos, negotiations, and contracting
  • Collaborate with the Growth team, BDRs, and Solutions Engineering team
  • Provide market feedback from prospects and clients cross-functionally
