About the Role

You will serve as the technical lead in the sales process, partnering with Account Executives to understand prospect architectures and explain how the platform fits their needs. You will lead technical discovery, product demonstrations, proofs of concept, and integration scoping. You will address technical, security, compliance, and architecture questions; respond to RFPs and RFIs; coordinate escalations with Product and Integrations Engineering; and share field feedback, product gaps, and competitive signals.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years in a customer-facing technical role, such as Solutions Architect, Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Integrations or Implementation Engineer, or a developer moving toward go-to-market
  • Ability to read API documentation, reason about system architecture and integrations, and engage with senior engineers
  • Experience selling or implementing technical infrastructure, APIs, or developer-facing platforms
  • Ability to lead technical discovery and evaluations that result in closed business
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and experience presenting to technical and executive audiences

Responsibilities

  • Lead sales calls as the technical lead, including product deep-dives, architecture whiteboarding, and technical Q&A
  • Translate customer requirements into a clear technical solution and explain platform capabilities in customer language
  • Own technical discovery, demonstrations, proofs of concept, and integration scoping
  • Escalate roadmap and product-fit questions to Product and hand off implementation and technical blockers to Integrations Engineering
  • Handle technical objections and security, compliance, and architecture questions
  • Lead responses to RFPs and RFIs
  • Provide Product with field feedback, product gaps, and competitive signals
