About the Role
You will lead end-to-end technical programs for autonomous systems, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. You will manage contractual deliverables, stakeholders, financial tracking, risks, and meetings, while supporting business-development submissions and working across defence partnerships.
Requirements
- Significant experience as a technical project or program manager in complex engineering or technology domains
- Experience delivering complex cross-functional projects aligned with business strategy
- Experience managing 0-to-1 product development cycles
- Knowledge of project financials, earned value management, estimates at completion, and contract data requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Vena, or Salesforce
- Experience working with or within the Australian Defence Force
- Communication, leadership, organization, and influencing skills
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end technical program management and define program objectives
- Oversee program initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
- Deliver contractual and customer deliverables accurately and on time
- Maintain relationships with government, defence, suppliers, and technical stakeholders
- Manage cultural, political, and military dynamics across partnerships
- Conduct critical-path analysis and earned-value tracking
- Report program health metrics and mitigate risks and blockers
- Lead meetings with clear actions and follow-up
- Support EOIs, RFTs, RFIs, proposals, and unsolicited submissions
