About the Role

You will coordinate manufacturing project activities, follow up with vendors and cross-functional partners, and support meetings and action tracking. You will gain hands-on exposure to manufacturing and quality activities while supporting program delivery at supplier and manufacturer sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Interest in project or program management within a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with Jira, Microsoft Excel, or Microsoft Project.
• Ability to collaborate across quality, logistics, procurement, planning, suppliers, and manufacturing.
• Ability to work onsite in the Detroit, Michigan area 3 to 5 days per week.
• Willingness to support different product lines or functional areas based on business and project needs.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive and/or fly to client locations and company headquarters.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside project managers on project coordination activities.
• Coordinate project activities and follow up with vendors and cross-functional partners.
• Participate in project and product-line meetings and coordinate follow-up actions.
• Support new product introduction, automation, structural component, bot, conveyor, and battery swap projects.
• Collaborate with quality, logistics, procurement, planning, suppliers, and manufacturing.
• Work onsite at supplier and manufacturer sites to support program delivery.
