About the Role
You will lead R&D programs from technology evaluation and partner engagement through pilot deployment and production handoff. You will coordinate engineering teams and external partners, manage evaluation operations and vendor deliverables, maintain milestones and risk reporting, and ensure comprehensive technical documentation.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in technical program management, project management, or systems engineering
- Experience in data center infrastructure, manufacturing, or related industrial environments
- Engineering degree or equivalent technical foundation
- Working familiarity with data center power distribution, cooling systems, facility design, or compute and networking
- Experience delivering complex cross-functional programs
- Experience managing vendors, contractors, or design partners, including contract negotiation and scope management
- Written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Drive R&D programs from technology evaluation through pilot deployment and production handoff
- Coordinate planning and initiative pipelines with engineering teams
- Coordinate vendor engagements, test protocols, data collection, success criteria, and go or no-go frameworks
- Manage external technology vendors, startups, design firms, and development partners
- Manage scopes, deliverables, schedules, contracts, and commercial terms
- Drive alignment across R&D, engineering, operations, and leadership
- Maintain program reporting and escalate risks and blockers
- Ensure technical assessments, pilot results, vendor evaluations, and handoff packages are documented
