About the Role

You will lead commissioning from construction planning through startup, functional and integrated systems testing, and turnover. You will establish execution plans, coordinate multidisciplinary readiness, integrate milestones into the project schedule, manage commissioning partners, identify risks, review deliverables, report project status, and drive final system acceptance and closeout.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in commissioning, construction, engineering, technical program management, or project delivery for mission-critical facilities or complex technical infrastructure
• Experience leading multidisciplinary commissioning programs through construction readiness, startup, functional performance testing, integrated systems testing, and turnover
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical commissioning workflows
• Experience integrating commissioning into construction schedules, energization plans, startup sequences, and turnover milestones
• Owner, contractor, equipment vendor, and commissioning-agent management skills
• Experience managing commissioning documentation, testing, deficiency resolution, issue tracking, acceptance criteria, and quality governance
• Ability to identify commissioning and operational-readiness risks and make actionable project decisions
• Written and verbal communication skills for senior project leadership

Responsibilities

• Own the commissioning strategy and execution plan
• Lead the hybrid owner and commissioning-partner delivery model
• Integrate commissioning activities into the master project schedule
• Lead commissioning coordination across project stakeholders
• Drive multidisciplinary readiness across electrical, mechanical, controls, and supporting infrastructure
• Own visibility into commissioning risks and readiness gaps
• Coordinate QA/QC inspections and test execution
• Review commissioning plans, procedures, checklists, logs, reports, and turnover packages
• Provide project and executive reporting on readiness, staffing, progress, risks, and turnover
• Drive final system acceptance, turnover readiness, closeout, and lessons learned
