About the Role

In this individual contributor role, you will generate net-new pipeline, build relationships with key Labor stakeholders, and close complex multi-employer deals. You will report to the VP of Sales and work cross-functionally with Client Success, Marketing, and Product. You will develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the Taft-Hartley market, own bookings targets from prospecting through close, and navigate the governance structures of multi-employer health and welfare funds. You will serve as a trusted advisor to fund administrators, union trustees, benefits consultants, and brokers, support RFP and RFI responses, represent the company at industry conferences and fund events, and champion the Labor market internally.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in Labor healthcare sales or consulting with a track record of closing large, complex contracts in the collectively bargained marketplace and exceeding quota
  • Deep expertise in the Taft-Hartley market, including health & welfare fund operations, collective bargaining strategy, trustee decision-making, and ERISA
  • Strong existing network of fund administrators, consultants, and channel partners
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Growth mindset and entrepreneurial drive with comfort with ambiguity and approximately 50% travel
  • Comfort with data and analytics, including interpreting performance metrics and financial models
  • Active work authorization in the US

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the Taft-Hartley market, owning pipeline generation, deal progression, and bookings targets from prospecting through close
  • Build and deepen relationships with key Labor stakeholders, including fund administrators, union trustees, benefits consultants, and brokers
  • Collaborate with Client Success, Marketing, and Product to surface market feedback, support RFP/RFI responses, and ensure seamless handoffs from sale to implementation
  • Represent Maven at Labor industry conferences, trade shows, and fund events to build brand awareness and source new opportunities
  • Champion the Labor market internally by sharing field intelligence to sharpen the value proposition and go-to-market approach
