About the Role
You will lead Adyen’s global strategic partnership with Visa. You will build senior relationships, develop multi-year partnership plans, negotiate commercial agreements, advise product strategy, and lead cross-functional go-to-market initiatives. You will also mentor partnership managers and improve partnership capabilities.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant strategic partnerships or business development experience in the payments industry
- Expertise in card acquiring, card issuing, and payment ecosystem dynamics
- Experience negotiating complex multi-year agreements with card network or fintech partners
- Ability to translate ecosystem trends into commercial models and actionable insights
- Communication, negotiation, and cross-functional influence skills
- Ability to operate autonomously and lead virtual cross-functional teams
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
- Full professional written and verbal English proficiency
Responsibilities
- Build and nurture global relationships with Visa
- Architect and execute multi-year strategic plans and partnership frameworks
- Drive commercial performance and financial scalability for the Visa portfolio
- Analyze scheme economics, fees, and incentive structures
- Shape product roadmaps and co-create payment solutions
- Lead cross-functional go-to-market initiatives and support merchant opportunities
- Mentor Partnership Managers and lead strategic internal projects
