About the Role

You will grow the XRP Ledger ecosystem by sourcing founders and developing relationships with VCs, accelerators, corporates, and strategic partners. You will structure and close grants, partnerships, and investments, design adoption-focused deal terms, map market value chains, and turn market insights into recommendations that influence strategy and product direction.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, corporate strategy, or venture capital
  • Experience in enterprise fintech, financial services, payments, or treasury technology
  • Track record of building commercial opportunities from ambiguous zero-to-one situations
  • Active network across fintech, payments, and crypto
  • Understanding of blockchain and traditional financial services
  • Crypto knowledge and passion
  • Analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Executive communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to work autonomously amid ambiguity
  • Based in New York, Miami, London, or São Paulo, or willing to relocate
  • Experience with cross-border payments, stablecoins, FX, lending, credit, or agentic payments is preferred
  • Familiarity with XRP Ledger and RLUSD is preferred
  • Emerging-markets experience and Latin American language fluency are preferred
  • Relationships with tier-one VCs, accelerators, or market makers are preferred

Responsibilities

  • Source and build a pipeline through VCs, accelerators, corporates, and strategic partners
  • Manage tier-one relationships with VCs, LPs, corporates, accelerators, and conferences
  • Map value chains to identify adoption participants, dependencies, and gaps
  • Connect founders, investors, and partners to unlock growth
  • Originate, evaluate, structure, and close grants, partnerships, and investments
  • Design deal terms and milestones that align incentives and drive adoption
  • Coordinate deals through signature and support partners through go-live
  • Sharpen the ecosystem value proposition and market signal
  • Turn market, competitive, and regulatory signals into recommendations
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, BD, Corp Dev, DevRel, and Go-to-Market teams
  • Pressure-test growth strategies and make tradeoff decisions
