About the Role

You will draft, review, and negotiate complex government contracts while ensuring compliance with FAR and agency-specific requirements. You will guide government sales, solicitation review, bid submission, implementation, and ongoing compliance, improve legal processes and templates, and manage outside counsel on complex matters.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of legal experience
  • At least 3 years advising on government contracting and related compliance
  • Ability to advise on government contract implementation and ongoing compliance
  • Ability to manage tight timelines, competing priorities, and a high volume of contracts
  • Cross-functional collaboration with technical, security, and sales teams
  • Ability to work independently
  • Contractual problem-solving and drafting skills

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex government contracts
  • Ensure compliance with FAR and agency-specific requirements
  • Guide government sales strategy, solicitation review, bid submission, negotiation, implementation, and ongoing compliance
  • Translate contract obligations into internal processes and assess adherence
  • Improve contract templates, playbooks, and processes
  • Facilitate legal automation and efficiencies with Legal Operations
  • Monitor regulatory and policy developments
  • Manage outside counsel on complex and novel matters
  • Support other commercial legal work when needed
