About the Role
You will shape capture strategies for complex public sector opportunities, influence requirements and procurement language before formal RFPs, and guide compliant, outcome-driven proposals. You will coordinate Sales, Product, Engineering, Legal, Security, IT, Finance, and RevOps; identify and mitigate risks; and create reusable capture practices.
Requirements
- 5–10+ years of experience in capture, deal strategy, or complex enterprise or public sector sales support
- Experience influencing outcomes before RFPs are finalized
- Experience supporting complex bespoke software or data platforms
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple high-stakes concurrent deals
- AI fluency
Responsibilities
- Own capture strategy for public sector opportunities and strategic public sector deals
- Engage early in the sales cycle to shape requirements, evaluation criteria, statements of work, and procurement language
- Advise account executives on deal positioning, ROMs, and proposal framing
- Lead capture execution for complex opportunities
- Translate customer intent into compliant, outcome-driven proposals
- Identify risks early and guide teams through mitigation strategies
- Coordinate Sales, Product, Engineering, Legal, Security, IT, Finance, and RevOps
- Build reusable capture templates, artifacts, and best practices
- Codify lessons from wins and losses to improve deal execution
