About the Role

You will develop and execute account strategies for mid-cap corporate clients, expand existing portfolios, win new business, and cross-sell banking solutions. You will prepare pitches, credit memos, and financial models; monitor credit quality; conduct corporate-finance and industry analysis; and independently manage loan documentation and negotiations.

Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor's degree and have 8–10 years of relevant experience
  • Have experience in corporate lending and relationship management for mid-cap corporate clients
  • Demonstrate strong credit and financial analysis skills
  • Prepare financial models, cash-flow analyses, and debt-capacity analyses for complex lending structures independently
  • Understand corporate banking products
  • Conduct industry-level research and produce strong written and presentation materials
  • Use Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiently
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrate a record of identifying and developing business opportunities
  • Knowledge of shipping, aviation, logistics, transportation, or energy is advantageous

Responsibilities

  • Formulate and initiate account strategies to expand existing portfolios and develop new ones
  • Build an industry franchise within the assigned segment
  • Complete and execute account plans for clients in target markets
  • Drive business development with internal partners across geographies
  • Increase product penetration and cross-sell banking solutions
  • Submit RFPs, pitches, credit memos, and supervision reports on time
  • Meet deal-execution timelines
  • Prepare financial models with income-statement, balance-sheet, and cash-flow projections
  • Monitor and manage accounts for credit deterioration or improvement
  • Escalate credit concerns to senior bankers and credit teams promptly
  • Conduct capital-structure, valuation, and comparable-company analyses
  • Handle loan and security documentation and negotiations independently
  • Support industry research and strategy exercises
