About the Role
You will advise biotech and pharmaceutical customers on protein optimization projects, translate scientific goals into platform objectives, assess customer data quality, train users, and interpret platform outputs. You will build customer relationships, identify expansion opportunities, gather feedback, and guide product development around customer needs.
Requirements
- PhD in molecular biology, bioengineering, bioinformatics, or a related field
- 5+ years of biopharma experience in protein engineering focused on antibodies
- Experience with biophysical and/or functional assays
- Deep knowledge of biopharmaceutical R&D processes, methods, and tooling
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to build relationships with scientists and business leaders
Responsibilities
- Advise customers on protein optimization projects suited to the platform
- Translate scientific project goals into platform objectives
- Understand customer assays, workflows, modalities, and targets
- Ensure customer data quality and formatting for machine learning
- Train customers to use the platform
- Collaborate with engineering to deliver optimal protein designs
- Present reports that help customers interpret platform outputs and forecasts
- Recommend project strategies and inform go or no-go decisions
- Build relationships with scientific users and business stakeholders
- Gather customer feedback and collaborate with product teams on customer needs
