About the Role
You will identify and research prospective accounts, qualify leads, and convert opportunities into meetings for Account Executives. You will make outbound cold calls, handle inbound inquiries, communicate the value proposition, and answer client questions promptly. You will document prospecting activity in the CRM, maintain data hygiene, improve messaging and pipeline-management practices, and collaborate with peers and management.
Requirements
- At least 8 months of experience in a quota-carrying outbound B2B SaaS sales position
- Experience with outbound cold calling
- Time-management and task-prioritization skills
- Ability to navigate multiple platforms and systems simultaneously
- Ability to work collaboratively toward individual, team, and company goals
- Interest in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Empathy and thoughtfulness in professional communication
- Attention to detail when taking notes, setting appointments, and following processes
- Ability to work independently and seek help as needed
- Experience using a CRM system
- Willingness to expand knowledge of sales and cybersecurity
Responsibilities
- Establish rapport and trust with potential partners by phone
- Set qualified meetings within the Ideal Customer Profile while following standard procedures
- Achieve metrics using phone, email, LinkedIn, and other communication tools
- Stimulate interest by communicating the value provided
- Research and qualify new accounts through LinkedIn and other methods
- Record detailed account notes in the CRM
- Answer client questions with honesty, professionalism, and empathy
- Improve cold-calling skills, messaging tactics, and pipeline-management skills through training and feedback
- Complete tasks and respond to inbound inquiries promptly
- Document interactions and prospecting efforts in the CRM while maintaining data hygiene
- Collaborate with peers and management to achieve team success
